UK government says 25 per cent games tax relief will be “among the most generous in the world”

EDGE - UK chancellor George Osborne today confirmed that tax relief for the nation’s videogame companies will be set at 25 per cent, introduced next year, and be “among the most generous in the world”.

Smart government. Games are already expensive enough no matter where you live. Games here at my GameStop in the US are $59.99 and after tax i'v paid around $63+

It's not a reduction for end users, but a tax break for developers. Makes the UK more attractive for start up and existing studios.
