These new screenshots showcase the lovingly designed and quirky world of Pressure. The hero of the story must chase down the heinous Earl who has stolen all the local water in order to open up a private wellness spa for himself and his rich friends. The protagonist of the game single-handedly opposes the Earl’s military forces with nothing but his steam-powered buggy.
John Williamson from TPG writes:
"Pressure is a release which doesn't excel in any department. All in all, I would avoid this particular title due to its generic and progressively boring nature."
From the review: "Pressure provides gamers with entertaining shoot-em-up and arcade racing gameplay mechanics that are unfortunately overshadowed by repetitive level design. With the uninspired game design and lack of a real narrative, Pressure provides a mediocre experience at best."
On the face of it, Pressure looks like a frantic racer / shoot 'em up hybrid. Play through a few levels and that statement becomes only a third correct. It's not frantic, nor is it technically a racing game. While momentarily fun, this top-down car shooter never really amounts to anything more than controlling your car at moderate speeds, trying to maintain a line of sight as you (try to) blast countless hordes of enemy cars out of your way.
