Why Did It Take So Long to Ban League Of Legends’ IWillDominate?

Professional League of Legends player Christian “IWillDominate” Rivera (of Team Dignitas) has been permanently banned from the game for bad behavior. Citing “persistently toxic behavior,” Riot eSports stated that Rivera was a recurring problem for the game and would no longer be able to participate in it. This is after nine previous incidents that all resulted in Rivera being brought before a tribunal.
