Wii U update appears to improve loading times

have not seen any changes in loading times, but it seems the OS is a little faster.

Sorry, but I think it's still pretty slow. Reminds me of the pre-broudband era.

Going back to the Wii U menu from apps seems faster, I think the update is using more of the OS ram for switching rather than loading everything up again. I could be delusional but re-loads of apps seems faster as well so maybe even after quitting something like Miiverse it's still kept in ram for a subsequent fast load.

Nintendo needs to include the option to postpone the updates though... I was trying to show off my shiny new Wii U to a friend who is considering getting one. What was the first thing it did when I powered it up? Update for 10 minutes. Not the best advertisement Mr Nintendo :/
