Techtorial: The imminent arrival of GTA V raised some interesting discussion about how cheats and realism will be portrayed on its massive open-environment.
Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA 5 are both classics, but movement and general interaction sometimes feels like you're possessed by a fridge.
Rockstar need to learn that 12 years of work and 5000 employees doesn’t account for one persons opinion on the internet…
The controls of RDR2 felt a but cluncky indeed, but it’s not as bad as some make it out to be. At no point did I get the feeling my experience with the game was held back or ruined by the controls.
But it can never hurt to optimize them a bit, sure.
Red Dead Redemption felt clunky at first but I got used to it fairly quick. I thought 2 was easier to control but it could be my experience with the first game helped me out. Great games
I wouldn't call Rockstar games characters clunky instead they feel like they move with Weight they are not twitch controls press x to instantly snap onto cover the characters instead move like a actor would ducking behind cover they are exposed while they get there.
From their most recent entries in the GTA franchise to their cult favorite racing games, find here the best Rockstar games, ranked from best to worst.
Rockstar Games has released a new update for GTA V that patches the game to version 1.006.002 on PS5 and Xbox Series S|X.
Wtf why remove a function that wasn't tied to licensing and was promoted as a selling point back in the PS4 and x1 release.
There's also trophies dependent on this
Come on, it's just a game
Quite frankly I don't mind the cheats being out their and ridiculous and the main game being all serious. I think that's the balance GTA needs. Cheats are there to have fun so should be stupid.
i agree with iamnsuperman. for example: everybody wants one of the dlc for the game to deal with zombies. I am half and half on that statement. A dlc dealing with zombies is kinda hard when they are trying to pertrey realism in the storyline. My solution to that is not make it a DLC instead make a cheat to make all the people zombie's.
As long as they don't follow what Saints Row 3 did they will be fine.
I don't know WTF they were thinking, but to me SR3 was completely RUINED for me by having a really, really rubbish story.
If they had kept the story good(as they did with the previous game) and kept the silliness mostly separate it would have been much better.
Instead the story was just...awful. I am really hoping they make it some sort of alternate reality or something with SR4 otherwise they've lost a customer and a fan.
Back to GTA...they SEEM to be going in the right direction with 5. Let's hope.
I think realism is great and would like to see things 'funny' but in a realistic way.
