SuperBot on ‘Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale’ Mortal Kombat and other possible reps
SuperBot Entertainment’s Omar Kendall today revealed a few interesting comments today in regards to adding more reps to “Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale.”

Damn, I am starting to fall in love with SuperBot. The way SuperBot entertain their fans, no matter how crazy difficult/impossible it would be to pull off some of the fans requests is awesome!
Any other company worth millions (besides SuperBot) would be all like, "YOU GET WHAT YOU LIKE. SHUT UP AND ENJOY IT!". Either that or they will just ignore their fans altogether, even if some of what fans are saying could help the studio and the game.
SuperBot is a shinning example of the type of people and culture you want in your studio. Especially, working with a niche genre game (such as the fighting game All-stars is) it is important to do what they are doing.
p.s. I would love for the MK and Oddworld universes to be in the game. I honestly can not even imagine that mash-up. "Oddworld: Abes Odyssey" is such a narrative driven platformer (perhaps the first and greatest) while MK is a straightforward pure mechanical fighting game masterpiece with the typical over-the-top fighting game back stories on each character.
I would love to be a fly on the wall if Ed Boon (MK) and Lorne Lanning (Oddworld) come together in order to make something up for an allstars mash-up!!! Seriously.
Superbot, especialy Omar teased Crash Bandicoot since it was announced, even close to the release. I mean why tease something when they must of knew straight away from Activision they wern't going to get him. Superbot arn't Mr Perfect you know...no one is in this industry.
why are people disliking it? It's true. He could have said "Sorry, Crash can't make it into the game." and we would have all been good, but teasing him, that's just wrong.
Yeah but actions speak louder than words, they teased a few important characters even before release whom never turned up in the final roster so I wouldn't trust everything a company tells you...
Actually listening to fans and releasing NEW content that isn't complete or on the disc for a surcharge, but actually developed post-release and completely free.
I have 0 regrets purchasing All-Stars, the "low sales" and "Smash clone" sheep can't override the fun of smashing Kratos into pieces as Sackboy, while Sweet Tooth and Fat Princes are having a scrap on a LocoRoco map while MG Ray is busting the place up.
Ridiculous and enormously fun at the same time.
Edit: Vamp and Snake (Solid, Old or Naked Snake) need to be announced, with an iconic MGS scene like the top of MG Rex (MGS1 vs Liquid or MGS4 vs Raiden will do) or Groznyj Grad while the Shagohod tears you up every minute or so.
I say Laharl should be the rep. I mean if a Prinny was to represent Disgaea, they'd be KO'd quickly, what with their unfortunate ability to be blown up when thrown.
Given the dialogue choices for Nariko always raging about the "GODS SHALL FEAR ME!" and junk like that in ASBR I'd say I don't want this team handling the next title since they seem to think Nariko is just Kratos in a bra, attitude and all.
No. Her game was heavily inspired by God of War but she didn't act anything close to Kratos. She was more internal. Usually keeping her dialogue to herself.

They have jak and daxter, sly, ratchet and clank, Sweet Tooth, Parrapa, Spike, Sir Daniel, Kratos, and Heihachi. That's 9 characters, almost half of the roster, who debuted either last gen or the one before it. And if you wanted to get technical, you could count Dante and Raiden, even if they are updated versions.
The game is a lot of fun and the roster is good, not great, but still good. Get over it.
Personally, I would give the game an 8. Review scores aren't everything. Demon's Souls is my favorite game of all time, but didn't break 90 on metacritic.
Am I the only one who noticed SuperBot mentioned Blood Omen? If SuperBot eventually adds Kain into the game, I'd like to see both a Blood Omen and Defiance costume.
I was interested about the MK rep, never played an Oddworld game so couldn't care less, but when I saw Blood Omen I was like O_O. Kain, Kazuma Kiryu, Cloud, and Luca Blight are the characters I want most in this game. I'm sure Luca has no chance, but still.
How about Juri from Street Fighter 4 as a SF Rep, since SuperBot was originally going to have a SF Rep which was either Ryu or Chun-Li, but Juri is better and some prefer her over Ryu and Chun-Li. It would also be cool to have Wex Major from Wild 9 because he is another PS1 classic, along with Vexx and Viewtiful Joe because Vexx is a first party character, a PS2 classic character, and he is really cool in his game.

Disagree all you want but it's true, search for the interviews they did especialy the one were they wouldn't have him as DLC.
