A More Immersive Way To Run Around Assassin’s Creed III

Kotaku - I love open-world games, and I'm always looking for ways to change up how they look and feel, to pull myself into the world more fully. I have a whole involved way of playing GTA IV that involves killing the HUD and pulling in the camera. I love how it draws me into Liberty City. It works partly because the HUD and Minimap aren't around to distract me, and partly because by bringing the camera in closer to Niko's shoulder, I feel more "in" the world, and regard it from something resembling his perspective. (Assassin's Creed III, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

Well I prefer to enjoy the world around, like in skyrim and oblivion

I just stand there and enjoy the world... I do the same in all the GTA games, assasins creed games

I just love chilling and listing to their world

I like how on the Wii U version the HUD items are on the gamepad screen so the only thing on the TV is the game world. It's great for immersion, it's just like watching a film where I choose what happens.

I would rather not look down to see my HUD. It's Heads Up Display for a reason. Not heads down.

Well on other consoles you can remove all the HUD from the screen. Remove it all if you want. I play with it all removed.
