The Long and Winding Road: Video Games and Society

Humanity and violence go hand in hand, and if you were anywhere around a major retailer on Black Friday, you know exactly what I mean. On what is basically the holiest day of the year for a cult dedicated to the Gods of Commerce, masses of people take pilgrimages to the surrounding retail stores, fighting each other, shoving pregnant women, all to get a white hunk of silicon and plastic. It’s even sadder when you see people brawling around the bargain bin. The bargain bin. (Culture, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City 10th Anniversary)
