Bad Editing
When copying text from the source article make sure you read over the text and edit it if necessary. A good example is when a site writes "We" or "I" , as this should then be replaced with the site's or person's name, or you can quote the source. Even if you are the author.

The story is too old to be commented.

Good review. The Android version definitely doesn't have all the features. Hopefully they will improve on it.

Don't think their going to put all features on a rival mobile or tablet device . best bet would be to get a Windows device.

This is quite an interesting concept.

in terms of the useful part; i can already do that by logging into xbox.com from my tablet...however; i'm sure they will come out with more useful stuff to do with it that you wouldn't be able to do by logging into a website already.

and people that pay 200 bucks for a phone are just plain crazy, and/or spoiled.

That's viable, altho i dont bring my tablet with me everywhere like i do with my phone.

dvewlsh1331d ago

A smartphone can be incredibly useful outside of just being a nice toy.

I run a few businesses and do a lot of freelance writing and I can pretty much always bring what I need with me when I have my phone and can solve most problems without my computer.

How is a tablet more useful than a phone? A tablet is by definition a "third device" used to supplement your computer and your phone...

optimus1331d ago

Nobody is comparing a tablet to a phone. If you read the article it is proclaiming the usefulness of smartglass by letting you look up your friends on it without having to be on your xbox and being able to communicate with them without plugging in a keyboard and so fourth. I'm just stating that i can do that already on my tablet...

if your phone can do that as well that's fine (mine is outdated so i can't). My point is that the article makes it seem like it's a welcome feature that can't be done by other means...

And for the record, my tablet doesn't support smartglass...yet, (or i should say smartglass doesn't support my tablet)but i'm hoping it will in the future.

Seeing as though I wrote the article, I'm pretty sure that I've read it.

Logging into that site on a phone is unwieldy and not at all intuitive.

Actually, I'm a SmartGlass user myself and I have to say I love it.

I wish the remote control feature worked in-game rather than for just the dashboard, but I can see this having major potential down the road.

I've used it while playing Halo 4 and Forza Horizon and found it to be actually useful in some regard.
