Zac Elawar from Capsule Computers wrote:

On November 27, I had the privilege of getting hands-on time with the latest build of Tomb Raider. But what excited me the most was that I also had the opportunity to hold my first ever interview (which ended up being a 20 minute conversation) with Tomb Raider’s Sr. Art Director, Brian Horton.

Now, we know the calibre of creative and artistic talent that we’re talking about here, so please read the interview and enjoy!

I agree with the guy for saying that the pausing to gather health or fix up broken limbs just breaks the entire pace of the game. Sure it may be a bit more realistic but personally I would rather be able to experience the game at a proper pace than have to worry about searching for health every five minutes or navigating menus simply to use an item.

I completely agree with you Koga99, looking around like a headless chook for health is a problem that many games have it ruins pacing big time

It really depends on how well the regeneration is implemented. Used poorly the regeneration simply replaces looking for health packs for 5 minutes with sitting around waiting to attack again. Hopefully it's used effectively in this game.

Nicely done interview here. It's really cool to get the Developers side of things and the interviewer did a really good job asking some interesting questions.
