How Google Hurts Game of the Year Awards

A look at how the need for search engine traffic is causing game of the year awards to be pushed out too early. (3DS, PC, PS Vita, PS3, Wii, Wii U, Xbox 360)

This was very interesting reading, but I'm not quite sure that people make it to be about search engines. I thought generally the logic would be that having an article out early would draw readers, and that people would feel kind of 'done' with 2012 by early 2013... then again I'm not a specialist on anything else than ice.

More of this, please.

Very interesting take on GOTY awards and this also applies to a lot of trends in the gaming online news industry!
