Far Cry 3 Review - JPS

"The very first Far Cry game was released by Ubisoft back back in March of 2004 for the PC and received positive reviews upon its release. It was followed by a port to the Xbox as well as a sequel simply titled Far Cry 2, which released in 2008 with high ambitions but fell short of being amazing. It suffered from small annoyances such as malaria and over-aggressive A.I. and had a map that was too large for its own good. Now at the tail end of 2012, Ubisoft is ready to give it one more go with Far Cry 3." - JPS (Far Cry 3, PC, PS3, Xbox 360) 9.5/10

Played it on my pc using aussie apn.

Gotta say this is one of the most exotic games that iv'e ever played.

I did feel a sense of uncharted esque environment which was a definite PLUS.

The story is also very engaging while looking for animals to make your wallet, ammo, guns, loot, etc... bags is actually quiet fun!

This game is a GOTY contender and a DEFINITE MUST GET :D

I agree, it's an amazing game. It's got all the best elements of the first and the second games, and a hell of a lot more added including a decent story. They've really gone all out on this one.

yep got my game 2 weeks early and have been playing it on and off for 2 weeks. Great game great stuff. Recommended to anyone and everyone who is looking for a adventure that is never overwhelming.
I think you described it just well. The atmosphere in the original Uncharted makes it my favourite game in the series. Having similar atmospheric feel in FarCry 3 makes it a worth buy and it is a HUGE improvement over FarCry 2. I liked FarCry 2's world however it ends there as the rest of the game is incredibly broken.

I agree, this is my personal GOTY. It has pretty much everything and does it all pretty well. Awesome huge and designed open world, interesting story, good shooting mechanics, good controls, awesome stealth elements, RPG elements, and more and more and more! I didn't think I would like this game so much.
