Will Anyone Really Care If There’s No More Baseball on the Xbox 360?

Kotaku - The first week after Thanksgiving is typically when MLB The Show's publicity machine rolls out the first screenshots and begins teasing upcoming details for the game, and right on schedule we got them this past week. (Xbox 360)

Any real baseball aficionados know the MLB the Show was always the way to go. It was never a hard choice for someone with all three consoles, and a awesome PC rig.

Baseball is HUGE here in the awesome country (yes i did) of California.. M$ loss is Sony's Gain :)-

How is this a MS loss , 2K will not continue to make baseball games. but if MS truly wanted a baseball game they could always restart high heat or suggest to say EA to restart production of their MVP Baseball franchise game exclusively for 360 if they want a baseball game. but till then the lack of a multi platform game is the loss of the developer, not hardware maker

California is a Country now?

Did California just decide to pack up and leave?

Or are we seeing the product of the US educational system?

OT - I actually enjoy MLB 2K's games over MLB The Show. I just think the "True Pitching" mechanics is what really separates 2K's innovative and fun title from Sony's The Show which I think does everything else well. If The Show would take on 2K's pitching...I would no doubt buy The Show over any other Baseball game.

I do feel that this is a bit of a let down and I am a sports fanatic. I have all the sports games. NHL, MLB, NFL, FIFA, NBA. Love them all.

I wish EA would get back into the Baseball making franchise. I enjoyed the MVP series they made. I remember when every sports game available on the market had an EA logo on it.

Good times.

There better be a Baseball game this year or at least a roster update for 2k12. The Jays signed the best players from Miami making the Jays a real contender next season. I gotta play me some MLB.

Does the game come with juiced up players?
Nevermind, I'll stick with "Bases Loaded".

I bought a PS3 because of MLB The show. Now that the MLB liscense is up in the air, I wonder if EA will bring back MVP baseball. I will be pissed if they gobble up 1st party and 3rd party rights, like they did with the NFL. Either way, it will be the only way we see a baseball game on an xbox platform in the future

Just another reason to own a PS3.
It Only Does Baseball.
