Far Cry 3 Review - IMGMR

For some time now, Ubisoft Montreal had been working on a sequel to the Far Cry franchise. Even though the team’s main focus had mainly been on their successful Assassin's Creed franchise, they had more than enough time to work on Far Cry 3. What did all of this time and dedication result in? 9/10

I've already seen the game in action, so I can easily vouch for that review score. It's an absolutely incredible game and a definite contender for Game of the Year 2012! (Alonside Dishonored, Mass Effect 3, Borderlands 2 and Assassin's Creed 3) Anyone else?

Played it on my pc using aussie apn.

Gotta say this is one of the most exotic games that iv'e ever played.

I did feel a sense of uncharted esque environment which was a definite PLUS.

The story is also very engaging while looking for animals to make your wallet, ammo, guns, loot, etc... bags is actually quiet fun!

This game is a GOTY contender and a DEFINITE MUST GET :D

It's not uncharted esque, the first far cry had a similar enviroment, jungles =/= uncharted.

I've heard some awesome things about Far Cry so far. Not gonna like, the "Far Cry Experience" that they shot was a nice touch. Never played 1 or 2 but definitely gonna buy FC3

Consider yourself lucky for not having played FC2. It was pretty shitty. That being said the first iteration really broke some new ground.

I loved FC2...lol. Yeah it was majorly annoying at a number of parts, but I thought it was beautiful.

FC2 was good but FC was better, the only thing I didn't like was:

I played this game already and as far as I`m concerned, it deserves this score. However, I got to a part at the end where I was like: " WOW, I can't believe Ubisoft did that". That part alone made me want to give the game a 10/10.

Was looking forward to this game until I read Digital F's analysis. 20 to 25 fps and it screen tears like a mofo, both consoles are badly affected. Strange that most reviews fail to mention these facts while dishing out hefty scores. Will wait for the inevitable patch. :/

Some people i've talked to haven't even had the problems and are enjoying the game still and they're playing on consoles but their will probably be a patch soon.
