Kungfusion: Asian Stereotyping in Videogames

GI - Quick, name an Asian hero from a major videogame who isn’t a martial arts master. Pretty tough isn’t it? Why? Because there aren’t any. And why is that? Well that is a more difficult question to answer. The lack of Asian figures in popular culture today may be connected to a long history of anti-Asian racism in America. Indeed, Asian immigrants were persecuted just as much as African Americans or Native Americans; they were subjected to horrible discriminatory laws, forced to live in ghettoes (which today survive as Chinatowns), and were often attacked by mobs who beat them, stole or destroyed their property, and killed them.

Every nationality and ethnicity has to put up with some form of racism or sterotyping.
I'm Irish, so i MUST:
Be a drunk.
*I don't drink.
Wear green clothing, usually a sweater or a bland rugby shirt.
*I don't wear green at all, my favourite color is really blue.
Be named either Gerry or Séamus (Sheamus).
*I'm don't have either of those names.
Have some connection with the IRA.
*I hate terrorists, i'm a pacifist.
Hate English people.
*I don't hate anyone.
Talk like a Leprechaun.
*The only people who sound like Leprechauns are fools who try to put on an Irish accent without ever hearing an Irish person talk.
Live in either Dublin or Sligo (whichever one movie writers can think of when they need to remember the name of a place in Ireland)
*I have never been to Dublin or Sligo in my life and i have no intention of going to those places either.
Only eats potatoes.
*Wrong.
Have an "O" in my name.
*I don't.
Continually talk about fighting the British.
*I've never heard anyone other than history teachers talk about fighting the British.
Hate Protestants.
*Like i said above, i don't hate anyone.
I'm sure must of you get stereotyped way worse than this - especially if you're not white.

EKWB reportedly plagued with financial disarray many gaming pc's left without parts

EK Cooling allegedly has slipped itself into a hot soup of seemingly endless financial woes, where it has not paid its staff, suppliers, and contractors for many months as the company is facing liquidity problems and a surplus of inventory left unsold, stuck in the warehouse for a more extended period. Gamers Nexus investigated these claims made by former and current personnel, where he found trails of unpaid bills lasting as long as three to four months and unpaid raises that accumulated for almost a year.

EK Water Blocks has two entities—a Slovenian-based headquarters and a US-based subsidiary, EK Cooling Solutions. Steve narrated the series of events in detail, stating that the company was reportedly irresponsible and negligent regarding payment. Consequently, partners and employees are forced to share the burden of alleged mismanagement. It all begins with its extensive range of products, leading to a surplus of goods. EK has over 230 water blocks, 40 liquid cooling kits, 85 reservoirs, 40 pumps, 73 radiators, and 212 miscellaneous accessories.

Yes this is not about video games directly but indirectly this will impact the pc gaming/workstation space hard.

This company is massive one of two in the water cool space so if it goes poof then thousands out there have no spare parts or half built computers.

SO yeah i know not about a video game but think of it as amd leaving the pc space but this is ekwb that could be leaving water cooling in the pc space

Jayz2cents a supporter of there products also has issues

As someone that has built a watercooling rig. EK is big, but there's so many numerous watercooling part companies out there. EK's stuff isn't exactly amazing quality for the price compared to others either, it's just ok. Much like Corsair. The impact would be negligible long term. For perspective the majority of my parts are XSPC, at most I use EK for my gpu waterblocks and fittings. Both easily replaceable.
