Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified Review: Inconsistent Mediocrity | Shack News

Shack News: "If anything ties Call of Duty: Black Ops: Declassified together, it's inconsistency. The entire package reeks of a lack of care and oversight and feels like a slapdash cash-in on the franchise's name. Everything from controls to campaign design and multiplayer lacks the coherent vision and level of quality Infinity Ward and Treyarch have cemented on their PC and console releases over the past decade." I hope people in the comments quit trying to defend this game.... it's terrible..

This game had so much potential, but lets face it, they phoned it in and ruined it... let's not kid ourselves...

Don't get me wrong, I was really rooting for Nihilistic, but they let me down... especially when Activision has the nerve to charge $50 for this game, which imho is not even as good as Burning Skies (which sells for $20 or less nowadays)...

Well, here's hoping we get a good FPS in Killzone Mercenaries...

This is getting ridiculous. Nihilistic barley had anytime to develop this game. If anything appreciate what they've done in 6months against what Treyarch or Infinity ward does every 2 years.

black ops 2 on psn is £41.99 so how does this go for £44.99? Judging on resistance bs price It a will not be dropping price anytime soon either.

The game has many bugs.. the spawn killing has got to go. Too many players per map perhaps or larger maps. The booting me out to the main menu every time i start playing is an issue, especially when I want to get a game in in a hurry. However I've found that once i get into a game I can continue to play for a while before getting booted again. I thought it was my internet connection at first but it happens to everyone on multiplayer. Controls are a little sensitive but can be adjusted in the options screen. The flash grenades suck, you will flash yourself 98 percent of the time. The trick is to only use them around corners where they are completely out of sight.
Nihilistic can fix all of these issues however, Resistance Liberation is theirs also and they didn't do squat to fix the garbage multiplayer on that (the sound and game play was horrific). The game is playable and i enjoy it. I will continue to fight with the loading problem, and keep pwning. I'll keep posting as I play with more info as I get it. Anyone who wants to add me "sweatyboomer003" (psn & xbox).
