Telepath Tactics is a new turn based strategy game that applies a deterministic approach to the genre. Currently looking for support on Kickstarter so be sure to check it out.
Joseph writes - Telepath Tactics: Liberated is a remaster of Telepath Tactics, a Fire Emblem-inspired game that was released back in 2015. In Telepath Tactics, you control a large number of unique characters in turn-based combat. One of the game’s sticking points is how Telepath Tactics places a focus on using the environment to your advantage. Shoving enemies into the water, blowing up bridges, and forming chokepoints to name a few.

"Every now and then a modest looking game is able to baffle us with its sheer brilliance. One of these is Telepath Tactics, a new indie turn-based tactical RPG that marries the best aspects of the Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy Tactics and Disgaea series yet manages to give it some fresh spins of its own."
BNR: A long time ago, a fascinating strategy RPG tumbled across my path; Telepath Tactics, a game with an interesting premise and world. I suppose it wasn’t that long ago- a couple of PAXes feels like ancient ages- indeed, it was much earlier in the game’s development that I got to interview Craig Stern, the man who made Telepath Tactics.
So, what is Telepath Tactics? Simply put, it’s a turn-based strategy RPG in which you control a group of characters; it’s a bit like Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy Tactics.
