shogungamer.com: Thankfully Book of Spells won’t be put in the “could’ve been cool” category as it’s not a forgettable title that reeks of being a tech demo for a new peripheral. The base of the game may be aimed towards children and younger gamers, but the immense charm found within the wizarding world and the solid gameplay ought to be something that a wide array of gamers can enjoy. Devoid of any annoying technical glitches, Book of Spells is a good example of what developers can achieve via the Wonderbook as it provides one of the more immersive experiences to hit the world of gaming. 8/10

Wait this thing is actually good? Even if its just for kids? The demos I seen looked like a complete joke, I'm shocked.

Yes, very simple to understand and quite precise. This is perfect for the younger ones that want to play on your PS3s. It is much less of a game, rather an interactive book filled with stories. Minigames every once in a while and memorization for the spells. My brother is 6 years old and only needs help for setting it up in the beginning.

He also has Eyepet but that one has many glitches and bad responses during situations. This one seems very responsive.
