Haha pretty funny. I don't understand how anyone involved, Sony, Nihilistic, Activision... anyone thought this was a good idea.

such a joke professional reviewers are. this game should be unplayable with such a low score. its also quite easy for people to go online to see how the game is and discredit these bad reviewers. i dont remember any reviewer giving a video review of this game because it would illustrate their incompetence
SonyStyled  +   668d ago
on the ps store the user reviews averaged it a 4/5. and its been rated by over 500 customers that have downloaded it on the ps store. so i really think the reviewers are just out to hammer this title
knifefight  +   668d ago
Depends on what a score means to you.
If it's a "fun meter" then sure.
But as a consumer product, this unfinished mess represents an insult to the industry.
It's like releasing a funny movie that's only 30 minutes long and has no ending. Sure, it was fun while it lasted, but sticking a half hour film in a theater and charging the same price for it that other, longer, more COMPLETE movies charge? That's silly.

This is one where an industry reviewer and the common fan won't see eye to eye in a lot of cases.

shouldnt unplayable be a 0?
THC CELL  +   668d ago
SonyStyled man 500 people rated the game it wont tell u the downloads, not everyone rates games on psn as u will find out everyone who plays tokyo jungle (354 rates but the leader board has over 29k people on it and the rest.)
They should have made BFBC2.5 for vita.

Dice would have made a better game as usual.

Haha, I thought it got a perfect score for a second there.

Dammit Dolan , quit your gaming reviews
Sarcasm  +   668d ago
Wasn't there a rumor that it only took them 5 months to make this game?
Krew_92  +   668d ago
You're right, and I don't think it was a rumor.

A report said they started working on the game when Resistance: Burning Skies went gold. If we go by the earliest release date, that would be May 29th. That would make it land between five or six months of development time since Declassified came out on November 13th, they probably finished the game early to mid October.

I sort of agree with this because we got absolutely nothing but a picture at E3, if it was being developed before Burning Skies, then we would have at least seen a little bit of gameplay. Unless they were scared of showing the game.

oh come on, can it really be THAT bad? and this is hardly a review. he/she wrote a paragraph that states it has bugs and disconnections. jeez, some people just shouldn't be writing reviews (shakes head in disgust)

I agree with you. I enjoyed Resistance: Burning Skies to an extent.

When I first got the game I was quite happy, I only played the single player campaign at first. It started going raw when I played online though, the matches were glitched and I was barely able to connect to a match half the time.

The final nail in the coffin was when we waited for an update that would fix the online. It took two months, and there was absolutely no change for me. I don't know if it's better now though, I hurled the game at the wall and never played it again...

well this is more like a trolling reviewer. if you enjoyed RBS to an extent. You should enjoy this more. There are definitely some drawback. Like only 10 SP mission. No co op for survival mode. The online portion is the main highlight of the game. Especially for a portable with actual dual stick control and buttons.
knifefight  +   668d ago
Re: "well this is more like a trolling reviewer"

Or maybe someone actually has the balls to call out publishers for shipping half-finished products to the market.

The online may be fun (if you're one of the lucky ones who can stay connected), but let's call a spade a spade here. This game was obviously shipped to market way, way before being anything close to finished. That's disgusting. That kind of practice should NOT be rewarded with dollars -- the same dollars that could go to developers who work hard and make sure their games are as good and as finished as possible before they ship. Supporting games like this will only serve to make industry problems worse than they are.

Oh but hey, the online can be fun so let's just forget about that, yeah? What a joke, dude.

The game is average but what makes it bad is the price of the game.

all these negative reviews make me kinda want to buy this game.

0.5/5 would mean that the game is unplayable/broken but it is playable and not broken, i would rate it 3/5 in my opinion.
JonnyBigBoss  +   668d ago
You're out of your mind then. It's a piece of trash.
e-p-ayeaH  +   668d ago
2.5 out of 5 sounds more likely its playable and fun to some extent but the frequent technical errors make this a below average shooter.

I have the game and its not that fucking bad as ppl say it is. I get kicked once in a great while from online. They added some perks and guns into from MW3 and i have to give it a 4/5. Game is better online then Resistance Burning Skys tho
Sithlord-Gamble  +   668d ago
I agree.
BS wasnt great, but it wasnt horrible either.
THIS game is MUCH better than BS was.

Its to the point that I dont even bother worrying about these reviews anymore. I enjoy the game & thats all that matters.

I'm wondering why Sony even let Nihilistic make the COD game, they should have just waited until they had a better developer do it -.-

This game is ok with me i give it a 3.5 out of 5 and a 6.5 out of 10 sure the game is short lack of campaign mode but the operations mode is ok 10 mission maps . plus replay value trying to get 3 stars for each mission. you have training mode 5 training maps. hostiles is fun the more you play the harder it gets survive waves of enemys 5 maps. an then theres multiplayer the heart of the game which is fun playing online with the vita. i just got the game last week and theres a update that fixed online multiplayer

one thing i can say is the game is not worth 49.99 it should have been 39.99 or 29.99 i got it used from gamestop for 39.99 and keeping it for my vita collection. great online multiplayer action only on PS VITA

This is such a poorly written, how the hell do these jackoffs get paid to write ANYTHING?
Go back to grade 3! Seriously, it looks like it was written by an 8 year old.
This site just lost all it's cred (as if it had any in the first place)

Mark me as "off topic""trolling" ; whatever, but I think the quality of submissions is just as important as content, and addressing such horrible writing is completely ON topic.

I don't think the game is that bad, I bought it 4 days ago and I still love it.

If you guys would like to see my review here you go: http://www.reddit.com/r/vit...

The game is fun. Has some glitches... Like its console cousin. has fun online multiplayer. Has bad single player. Has a lot a lot of multiplayer depth (guns, perks, prestige mode, kill streaks, ect) other modes like hostles works fine. No zombies that's bad. Controls good. Graphics good. 3.0/5 is my score.

That was a better review than this paragraph they posted in the article.
In my opinion he/she didn't play it just read other bad reviews and scored as such. Prolly too busy playing AC or Halo or BLOPs 2 to really want to actually play let alone review this game.
