If it's a "fun meter" then sure.
But as a consumer product, this unfinished mess represents an insult to the industry.
It's like releasing a funny movie that's only 30 minutes long and has no ending. Sure, it was fun while it lasted, but sticking a half hour film in a theater and charging the same price for it that other, longer, more COMPLETE movies charge? That's silly.
This is one where an industry reviewer and the common fan won't see eye to eye in a lot of cases.
Dice would have made a better game as usual.
A report said they started working on the game when Resistance: Burning Skies went gold. If we go by the earliest release date, that would be May 29th. That would make it land between five or six months of development time since Declassified came out on November 13th, they probably finished the game early to mid October.
I sort of agree with this because we got absolutely nothing but a picture at E3, if it was being developed before Burning Skies, then we would have at least seen a little bit of gameplay. Unless they were scared of showing the game.
When I first got the game I was quite happy, I only played the single player campaign at first. It started going raw when I played online though, the matches were glitched and I was barely able to connect to a match half the time.
The final nail in the coffin was when we waited for an update that would fix the online. It took two months, and there was absolutely no change for me. I don't know if it's better now though, I hurled the game at the wall and never played it again...
Or maybe someone actually has the balls to call out publishers for shipping half-finished products to the market.
The online may be fun (if you're one of the lucky ones who can stay connected), but let's call a spade a spade here. This game was obviously shipped to market way, way before being anything close to finished. That's disgusting. That kind of practice should NOT be rewarded with dollars -- the same dollars that could go to developers who work hard and make sure their games are as good and as finished as possible before they ship. Supporting games like this will only serve to make industry problems worse than they are.
Oh but hey, the online can be fun so let's just forget about that, yeah? What a joke, dude.
BS wasnt great, but it wasnt horrible either.
THIS game is MUCH better than BS was.
Its to the point that I dont even bother worrying about these reviews anymore. I enjoy the game & thats all that matters.
one thing i can say is the game is not worth 49.99 it should have been 39.99 or 29.99 i got it used from gamestop for 39.99 and keeping it for my vita collection. great online multiplayer action only on PS VITA
Go back to grade 3! Seriously, it looks like it was written by an 8 year old.
This site just lost all it's cred (as if it had any in the first place)
Mark me as "off topic""trolling" ; whatever, but I think the quality of submissions is just as important as content, and addressing such horrible writing is completely ON topic.
Don't look up.
Something just went over your head.

That was a better review than this paragraph they posted in the article.
In my opinion he/she didn't play it just read other bad reviews and scored as such. Prolly too busy playing AC or Halo or BLOPs 2 to really want to actually play let alone review this game.
