Review: Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why'd You Steal Our Garbage?! [pixelrelated.net]

While Adventure Time: HIKWYSOG isn’t the best licensed title ever made, it’s still substantially better than many others. The writing is fantastic and the design is great. The combat and length of the game, however, hold it back from mainstream appeal. If you’re not a fan of the series, you’ll likely be disappointed. However, if you’re a hardcore fan of the show, you’ll likely get a ton of fun out of the very short play time.

Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why’d You Steal Our Garbage?!! Review | The Hub World

The Hub World writes: Adventure Time: Hey Ice King? Why’d You Steal Our Garbage?!! (man, that’s a mouthful) has a similar play style to Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. As a matter of fact, it is almost identical. You walk around the hub world (which is the Land of Ooo) in order to enter various towns, forests and other locations, in which you are put into a 2D side scrolling setting where you must travel and defeat enemies. Occasionally, you will also bump into enemies in the hub, which will put you into a small battle against multiple enemies for a reward. Altogether, the gameplay is quite solid and fluid, but it can get quite tedious as the game progresses.
