Persona 4 Golden’s Soaring Soundtrack Is Love At First Listen

Kotaku: "Of all the things it does so well, Persona 4 has a musical soul. Composer Shōji Meguro's tunes run to the very core of the game, and without his work, complemented so perfectly by vocalist Shihoko Hirata, Persona 4 would be incomplete; an engine without wheels, a tin man without a heart." (Culture, Persona 4 Golden, PS Vita)

Came back one day and my bubbles were reduced to four... the other one evaporated because of hot air I'm assuming. It certainly doesn't inspire you to make the effort.

On topic: Persona is a very odd little beast as far as I'm concerned. I absolutely loved it but I hate dating sims... I just dated any old 'gal' so that I could get on with the RPG sections of the game.

I missed out on this, as I never owned a PS2. Will definitely get it, if I decide to get a PS Vita.

Shoji Meguro is a beast. Love his work.

Shoji Meguro is right up there with Nobuo, they are geniuses. the whole Shin Megami Tensei series, i believe, is blessed with Meguro's music.
TongkatAli  +   1040d ago
I actually think he is better then Nobuo, but they're both gods of video game music.

What a game. I just heard a boss theme for the first time and thought, "I can't wait to download this soundtrack!"

Personally i am loving the actual vocal songs in the game. From the dungeons to that pretty cool anime sequence 2/3 into the game.

I must admit the english dub for P4 Golden is excellent, all the characters do a really good job in their roles & in the point of the game where i am at now the emotions really shine through.
