Why The Spike Video Game Awards Might Be Worth Watching

FruityGamers:

The Spike Video Game Awards haven't exactly been a priority for gamers as of...ever. When it debuted in 2002, fans watched eagerly, and the show just went downhill from there. Finding out gaming was big enough to get its own award show was epic, but the show's presentation, focus on pop culture, and general lack of regard of anything, you know, GAMING, has made it something gamers want to avoid rather than eagerly anticipate. (PC, PS3, Wii U, Xbox 360)

Really? Because there is the Tokyo Game Show, Gamescom and Comic Con and that is to few of the shows that are aired between E3 and the GAS.

To each their own. I personally prefer Comic Con and E3 because I can attended them.

I really hate award shows. They are all the same. You could distill it to a sheet of paper and save everyone the time and agony of having to watch the same thing over and over again.

Honestly, GOTY is a worthless title anyway.
