PS4: Every Rumour So Far

NowGamer: PS4, or the Orbis as some call it, is Sony's chance to enter the next-gen with a strong start, but which rumours should you believe? (Next-Gen, PS3, Sony)

"based on the AMD A10 APU "
If it has an a10 cpu I wonder does it mean it will still have a separate gpu? That would be two gpus. I hope it has 8gb ram.

"256GB hard drive "as standard"."
only ssd's come in 256gb just sayin.

Don't get me wrong it would be great to have an ssd but why would they put in the added expense when you can get hdd really cheap now?
TimeSkipLuffy  +   638d ago
I guess there will be more than one PS3 version. OR they believe that SSD will be cheaper by then XDDD
MikeMyers  +   638d ago
SSD drives are still rather pricey so I don't see that happening unless it's just used for the OS.

I honestly think it will not be called the PS4. Japanese culture is still knee deep in history and superstitions. It doesn't matter to me one bit, I just want Sony to do well. I think they learned a lot with the PS3.

What we do know is will continue to bring amazing exclusives and great value. Long live play.
Hicken  +   639d ago
Honestly, I care about that (the games and the value) more than the exact specs. But I guess I can also say that because I know that Sony's not gonna skimp on the tech front, anyway.

I can't wait for the redesign controller
BitbyDeath  +   639d ago
Just fixing or getting rid of the triggers would be good.
black911  +   639d ago
Ii have the real triggers add-ons. But the PS4 controller needs that push. Somthing that owns the competion in every way and thats suitable for every game. And stays true to the original playsation design.

"If Sony get their first this time, Microsoft might have to do something it hasn’t done in a while: play catch-up."

Xbox?
Windows Phone?
MS Surface?

MS has been playing catch up ever since XD

I will just wait for the real specs to be revealed. Speculation is just that,. I bet that Sony has a nice surprise in store for all, M$ bware!
TemplarDante  +   638d ago
Interestingly enough.. AMD is starting to manufacture SSD now...

I like both Sony and Microsoft just saying! But I'm a little surprised that the next xbox will be 2 to 3 times more powerful than the Ps4. I'm guessing its because of cost and the fact that microsoft has a lot more money than sony.
