The Impressive, Beautiful, Somber Super Move Of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale’s Big Daddy

Kotaku: About a week ago we all got the opportunity to get our hands on Sony's brawler, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.

I mentioned in my review that BioShock's Big Daddy was one of the highlights, if for nothing else than his third-level special move. It's gorgeous, and one of the most uniquely done action moves that I saw from any playable character in the game. It's also somehow sad, inspiring memories of the twisted utopia that was Rapture. (PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, PS Vita, PS3)

I agree, it really is a fantastic attack. Very dramatic and unique.

Sackboy turning everyone into prize bubbles and "collecting" them to get kills is a personal favourite of mine.

It's bizarre kicking Kratos' ass with sackboy, on a LocoRoco level while Sweet Tooth is having a brawl with Fat Princess in the background as Metal Gear Ray makes an appearance and tears up the level.

just ridiculously good fun, having a great time with All-Stars =)

Edit: Plus getting a free copy for my Vita that would have cost me £30 otherwise? Work breaks will never be the same again, and i have a feeling i may need to "use the bathroom" in work a little more often... for 20 minutes at a time.

I know what you mean. It starts out for 3-6 minutes to almost an half an hour on the toilet. I spent a few matches on the the second to hardest difficulty and the hardest difficulty on a 4 player versus match, when I wasn't near a Wifi connection and had a blast.

I came in 2nd and 3rd place most of the time, but the enjoyment and challenge you get from it; A great shot of adrenaline.

I am really happy with the outcome of All Stars. I had a blast playing around a couch with my buddies. Brings back memories of gaming around the same tv. I am hoping this game gets the support it deserves from gamers and looking forward to more levels and classic PlayStation characters.
