Part 2 of Gammasquad's Wii U hardware reviews is here...
i completely agree and i say that in alot of my comments for a few months now and i really believe it..the wiiu is the best nintendo system since the snes and i expect great things and great games on it..
I bet all of the people who disagreed with you don't even own one. I as a Wii U owner agree with you! Throw into the mix virtual console and Wii backwards compatibility make it a must have. It's just too bad they scrapped gamecube BC.
i coulnd agree more snes is my favorite console now i will wait for the opponent to release the sega genesis of this generation
I will also second this motion, I haven't felt this way about a Nintendo console since the N64, I swear I have learned something new about this thing everyday since last week, I mean who reads instructions, especially when its Nintendo! I haven't even turned the 360 on since last Friday! -I love it! -The NSN (Nintendo Social Network is so ridiculously fun!, Simple, but so fun! -And the people on their are insanely creative with that little Paint pad! ^_^
Can anyone who has a Wii U advise if the weather and news 'channels' are still present? My wife loves them both and it would appear to her as a loss if they were not there. Anyone?
I am z Wii U owner, and unfortunately, they are not currently present. I really hope they will reappear though, because I really liked those channels as well.
I prefer the N64 to the Wii U mostly for nostalgia reasons and the innovation it brought. It blew my mind the first time I played Super Mario 64. Being able to play in a 3D world was just incredible. The N64 also introduced my favorite game of all time, Ocarina of Time. I have many good memories with the N64. But I'm definitely enjoying my time with the Wii U so far. It's a great console.
It has the potential to be. All it needs is a Street Fighter 2 and a Donkey Kong Country moment.
Iwata needs to leave Nintendo. since his position with the company...Nintendo is nothing what it use to be. Cube, wii...now wii U. This guy isn't serious about profound gaming experiences, but more casual and kiddy trash. There is little variety and not enough new ip's. I don't know how they get buy on shovelware and rehashes. I guess with all the kids/old people and non gamers one can see the attraction and over simplicity.
No he doesn't. He isn't <Iwata needs to leave Nintendo. since his position with the company...Nintendo is nothing what it use to be. Cube, wii...now wii U> Let me guess. That would be blood, guns, boobs, cursing, "dark" environments and some random White male as the main character coupled with all the "next-gen" technology that gamers want but are not willing to pay for. Sony and Microsoft don't have a whole lot of variety either. And their new IP's are just recycling ideas from other IP's, often getting overshadowed on their own platforms. I don't know how they get by on living vicariously through the more productive third-party developers/publishers while barely doing anything of consequence. <This guy isn't serious about profound gaming experiences, but more casual and kiddy trash. There is little variety and not enough new ip's. I don't know how they get buy on shovelware and rehashes.> Spoken like a person that doesn't go out much. <I guess with all the kids/old people and non gamers one can see the attraction and over simplicity.>
am i the only person on this site who liked the cube, over in England in knew loads of people who liked the cube, don't get me wrong n64 was great but I loved windwaker third best zelda after skyward sword and ocarina of time. I know a lot of people where put of by the cellshade graphics but its truely an awesome game, it had metal gear solid twin snakes. very good remake it introduced me to multi screen gaming before the ds. zelda four swords with 4 gba's hooked up was great fun you could Fuck with your mates big time steeling each others treasure. I had enter the matrix, need for speed, resident evil 4 (first), even decent resi 1 remake but the other 2 where just ports. gameboy player good, even if it was only to play pokemon gold on tv. ok pokemon xd was pretty shit, however I even liked final fantasy crystal chronicles but I know that's not that popular, it wasnt a great console but I liked it as much as the other 3
I loved the Cube, but I didn't jump into it until halfway through its' life cycle. I had a PS2 in 2001 and I didn't get a gamecube until 2003. I remember my friends arguing about which one I should get first. I ultimately decided on going with the PS2 because of Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid. However, when I got a cube, and played Super Mario Sunshine, Zelda Windwaker, and Eternal Darkness, I was in love forever. I'll never regret either of those purchases. That said... I agree, there was not enough love for the gamecube. However, I think a lot more gamers have kind of warmed up to it.
of course the hordes of haters shows what im saying is true also...that the wiiu is a fantastic system that crybaby fanboys cant help but hate on....the wiiu's possibilities are endless
