Sydney Morning Herald | Far Cry 3 Review - Just this once, believe the hype

Here's the short version: It's amazing, and you should buy it. If you like first person shooters and enjoy games that give you lots of freedom to explore a big open world, this may be your game of the year. This is sandbox shooting at its finest. Jump into its huge, vibrant, living world and see where the current takes you. It might be somewhere beautiful, or dangerous, or both, but it will almost certainly be a lot of fun. (Far Cry 3, PC, PS3, Xbox 360) -

So many good review for this game, It wasn't even on my radar but I'm getting pumped waiting for the 30th to hurry up and get here now.

I agree completely. Not sure why we in the U.S. have to wait until the 4th but oh well.
