Just Stop! Consoles Are NOT Headed For a Crash

Of course it isn't but deep down even if consoles did stop I would obviously be saddened but there are so many games and so many consoles that I could play every game from every era every day for the rest of my life and never finish.

A huge amount of games doesn't mean a huge amount of quality games.

Yeah but with thousands upon thousands of games theree will probably be more games to play than the next 3 gens combined so there will be a lot of great games I havnt played out there.

Still, casual games are hurting the industry, they REALLY are... We're not going to see the gaming industry drop dead any time soon, but things need to change. Between casual games being a big focus, and playing it safe where every game released is a tried and true formula thinking they'll get millions of sales every time, (Looking at CoD, Assassin's Creed, etc.). Sure they're fun games, but it's time to innovate and stop putting out the same thing every year. People WILL eventually get tired of it, and THAT is when the game industry is going to really suffer.
