Giving money to people who are too lazy to help themselves is one of the biggest problems with the world today. You shouldn't feel noble or proud to give them any money.

And before you say "what about the ill, handicapped or other unfortunate people" look up Charles Darwin's two major deductions.

1 - The struggle for existence. Too many individuals are produced than can survive, so many will perish.

2 - Those individuals most fit for the environment shall survive.

The world is currently a rapidly increasing population. All of these major advances in medicine and life expectancy are going to have a huge knock on effect to the Earth soon. To survive as a species in the future we need a large percentage of the population to die. So why are you helping the lazy ones to live? Would you rather the people who work hard for their wages die?
