Metal Gear Rising has been up and down over the past few years narrowly avoiding cancellation so what has been going on and should we be worried about the end result?
Im not worried, hell, im not even gonna play it, I stand cant Raiden Ill be waiting for ground Zeroes
I'm not worried, this is Platinum games after all, they always deliver good games, I dont know any of their games that were bad
Nope. It's just a game. No need to worry. More important things to worry about, like should you have taken that extra journalism class in school, or what to make for dinner.
Remember, before the internet, when there was this sense of wonder about new games? Remember when we didn't know who the final boss was before the game came out? Sure, we now know... kinda... which games to avoid, but we know entirely TOO MUCH about every release now. Can we go back to ten, fifteen years ago? Gaming was better then, if you ask me.
Yes. It's sad that they even considered a hack & slash spinoff using the worst character in the Metal Gear universe. I didn't want to play as him in MGS2 and I sure as hell don't want to play as him now. What's even worse is they gave it to the overrated Platinum Games which is obviously just their attempt to try and cash-in on the Metal Gear name as they're desperate. After all, their other games this gen have flopped and even Nintendo had to help Bayonetta (don't know why they even bothered with that garbage). This will flop and end up in the bargain bin soon especially since it's in between better games. Even DMC is better than this.
Lol. People loved Raiden in MGS4 and when Rising was revealed, but as soon as revengeance was announced...boom
Yeah. As a multiplatform game. MGS4 was a PS3 exclusive.
Seems like you just have a hating problem that causes you to hate everything that doesn't suck. Hater.
DmC is better? Lol. The gameplay in that game is horrible compared to Rising and past DMC games. And please tell me how PG is overrated when their games have been getting nothing but praise all the time. Seems like you hating on one character for whatever reason is going to deprive you of a good game. So be it.
worried, no, ready for disappointment, yes.
No worries at all..I already played the demo..I'm sold
Yeah the demo was fantastic, much more than what I can say about other games in the same genre these days.
i would take this game over a bayonetta sequel from platinum games. bayonetta is good though
Let the haters do what they do and hate. I am picking this up, I liked him in MGS2, MGS4 he was cool minus the heels.. and his story is really twisted. a human whos memory has been screwed with, told the woman he loved left him, his body ripped apart to the point that his head/brain/and spine is all that left. Sorry but thats intense when you compare to some other game characters.
I just played the demo that came with Zone of the Enders HD Collection. I'm buying this game.
Slightly apprehensive as I pre-ordered the limited edition, but Kojima won't let a third party tar his reputation, so I'm not overly concerned.
There should be no worries, this game will be great, especially with the lack of great Hack and Slash titles its coming out in great time (Ninja Gaiden 3 was eh, DmC is looking and feeling terrible, all there is left is God of War Ascension in march) plus this is obviously a real Metal Gear game with Kojima and his team on it, its just not Metal Gear Sloid. Platinum games basically created the genre and they defined it with their Devil May Cry franchise, plus the know how to do action as seen in Vanquish and Bayonetta, so why not have one of the best action game developers in the industry to go in half and half with development of an action Metal Gear game? I feel if Kojima's original Rising team wanted to do an action / stealth game, a Gray Fox game would of been the way to go and way more interesting storywise (for me at least, also looking forward to the Gray Fox skin in Rising!) I'm a huge Metal Gear fan and love this genre of game, and love Platinum, so for me there is no worry at all.
