Gamer Euphoria staff member Sean writes:
''There seems to be a strange trend on the rise, especially when conventions and expos are in town, and this trend is slightly worrying given the nature of peoples mind sets. The term ‘Booth babe’ has been thrown around the pillars of the video game community for quite some time now and it can be seen as a little juvenile, but that isn’t the issue I’m talking about at this current moment.''
They have to stand around and be gawked at for hours.
They probably don't even get to use the toilet if they need to.
Booth Babes are great to look at and i'd say a lot of them enjoy what they do, but sometimes you see one or two who have that "i wanna go home" face on.
Those poor, sexy things.

Nevermind
I am a male, but I think that job all together, whether for a male or female, is degrading and should be illegal. And why do people expect them to know about games (as the article pointed out), as no-one goes up to them and can move their gaze to meet their face and ask them a serious question anyway.
I'm more annoyed that they use good looking guy/girls to do interviews, when they clearly know nothing about games.
A Freudian lozenge for all the frustrated man children who wish they were Master Chief, a fictional overman who never has to struggle with rejection and inadequacy.
Beta males play video games. Beta males prefer objectified women over real women, because objects don't ask you when your next promotion is coming up.
