Dragon's Dogma DLC To Be Released For Free

Capcom announced a free 'Challenge Pack' DLC, which will feature a 'Hard Mode' and 'Time Attack Mode' with new gear to go with it. Slated to be released for early December. (Dragon's Dogma, PS3, Xbox 360)

I find it funny these days how they have to mention something is free, when it damn well should be as you said.

I don't mind paying for extra content, like an expansion or something, but for a hard mode and time attack mode? Hell no.

What is gaming coming to when we have to thank people for giving away 'free' DLC when it should be. If only we could still unlock clothing for characters in fighting games, instead of being told to buy them separately.

I'm scared of next-gen TBH, I really am when it comes to DLC. It can only get worse.

Yeah, I agree with every word. When I wrote the article, the whole time I was thinking "shouldn't these modes already be part of the game?"

It's starting to get pretty ridiculous.

DLC's before even releasing the game
Pass code or even games attached to one console
paying for online
one account for a console
expensive games
expensive memory cards like in vita
...etc

it is scary thinking what will they limit next , you dont own what you buy -.- ...

Doomsday isn't until next Dec 21, 2012 according to the Mayans.

I'm doing my part. I'm not getting anyone who believes it christmas presents!

To everyone else, merry christmas!

Haters gonna hate and I wanna hate Capcom but it's nice to see them acknowledge their fan's feelings towards DLC and actually release free stuff. They still have a long way to go but it's a step in the right direction.

I actually just picked this game up for a great price during Black Friday. Good to see Capcom giving it some love.
