Halo 4 Review | Gamer Sector

The parting between a developer and a franchise it created can be a dangerous one. Trepidation often enters the fans, will the new team "get it". While it was pretty much a guarantee that Microsoft would have sooner delayed Halo 4 extensively than allowed it to come out substandard, the fear remained that its soul might be lost in the process. Actually playing the game is enough to allay those fears. Halo 4 shows that in 343 Studios the franchise has found itself left in more than capable hands. | GamerSector.com (Halo 4, Xbox 360) 4/5

Fantastic game and easily some of the best visuals on the 360.

Some of the best visuals on any console. It looks out of this world. Try zooming in on some textures like walls etc. Then turn around and look at the scope and scale of some areas. Now try doing the same in for example Killzone 2 or 3.

If your trying to say it looks better than killzone without totally sounding like a fanbot, you failed miserably. The game looks decent at best. It plays like... well halo. Played it for a few hours and sadly tossed the new cod back in.

Killzone 2 and 3 were beat a long time ago with Crysis 2, Rage, etc. That's on console. PC beat both games WELL before that.

PS3-tards have been embarrassing themselves trying say it is not so ever since.

Halo 4 easily competes with any top tier game in the graphics department. The quality of the textures and the draw distance with all that's going on screen is jaw dropping. The lighting is amazing and the open nature of the levels is above any shooter you can name on consoles.

Got this game today after ordering it on Amazon yesterday (lightning deal) and played campaign co-op with my cousin. If the box, the intro splash and the media didn't tell me, I'd assume it was still being made by Bungie.

Just to be clear, that is a HUGE compliment. I'm not really the type of person to worry about these kind of things, but so far, I've not only been given good reason for that stance, I've been given good reasons to be VERY excited about where Halo is gonna go.

It's in good hands, people.
