Darryl Linington from ITF Gaming writes:While the gaming world is sitting in front of their screens playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, either competitively or just for the hell of it… some gamers are getting creative with their Playercards… maybe a little too creative. While creating an awesome Playercard is generally the norm amongst players, some players are going a little too extreme.
And before people start their anti-censorship rants and whining about how violence is worse than sex, remember this....
Black Ops 2 is rated M for Mature, but sex/nudity isn't one of the descriptors. They may not be obligated to keep users from creating these things (as multiplayer to the extent of unpredictable human interaction isn't rated by the ESRB), but they're fully in their right to TRY to keep the multiplayer experience within the parameters of those descriptors.
And no this isn't a joke, while it was funny because of how random it was to just see it pop up.
i wondered if the person hated men or was just expressing the limits of their maturity.
In other words, he might (barely) have the mental capacity to string together those words to say that to me, but I'll spin that so that he'll be crying by the end of the race.
'Cuz he's a kid.
:D
.....and? They monitor that, too, even if not all that effectively.
I'm perfectly content with my cookie monster.

"They send young men out to drop Napalm on innocent children but they won't let them paint the word Fuck on their airplanes because it's offensive".
This is a game where one of the objectives is to shoot other players avatars in the head as often as possible, putting a doodle on your playercard and trash talking your opponents isn't obscene in this context, if it was a G rated game the whiners might have a point.
Just a lot of dolphins with thunder-cocks...I can't believe that's actually a thing
*Rushes out and buys Black Ops 2*
I don't do these sorts of things, but I find them funny as hell.
People worry about stupid stuff like complaining about penises and meanwhile everything real crumbles around them because they aren't complaining about that. It's sad.
I'm so offended by player-cards. PLEASE stop them now!

I always ask this question though. I really don't understand why 6 year olds and stuff are playing these games. Then parents wonder why their kids have bad mouths etc. I mean, what do you expect? Most parents don't even watch their kids these days.
Either way, it just goes to show that once again violence is okay, sex isn't. It also shows that the parents have the IQ of used toilet paper as their kids are underaged in any case.
You buy a kid something they shouldn't have and then expect a babysitting service? GTFO and Grow the hell up.
I got tired of it already. I'm sitting in front of my screen alternating between playing Doom Classic Complete and getting ready for GTA5 by playing GTA4 Complete Edition.
I'm pretty happy with my BO2 emblem though. It took me awhile but I made a yin yang symbol, a silhouette of an acoustic guitar, and the I Ching hexagram that apparently stands for "the army" and has to do with teamwork... at least according to the two I Ching books I have. Black and white with a grey background.
As for the "offensive" emblems, on the one hand I guess a mature rated game doesn't guarantee mature gamers, but on the other hand it is rated M so I don't see the problem, at least not with those emblems. They aren't promoting hate crimes or anything like that.
*gamercard is a picture of a penis ejaculating*
Wouldn't put too much stock in any of that.
Nothing here is new, uproar over nothing because people like something to moan about.
She needs to get in the squat rack.
Yeah, I can believe how childishness people are.
I made my emblem look like a soldier pulling the trigger that fired said bullet. It's awesome.
But I agree. Some people go way too far.
