One of the most highly anticipated PlayStation exclusives of the year has finally launched today, as Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) bring PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale to retail stores throughout PAL territories. Available now for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale offers cross-play for up to four players on either console.
It's quite repetitive though, I don't think there are quite enough characters or stages, but there is enough gameplay to hold us over until (apparently free) DLC arrives.
Thing is its one of those games where it was never going to be able to fully please everyone, I mean there will always be characters, items or levels you'd think "they should have added X, why didn't they do Y?"
But for what it's worth for now, it's worth at least giving a go if you really don't want to buy it the. At least try it. It's not THAT much like Smash Bros, it's different enough to be able to enjoy both series (and I hope it does become a series)
