Assassin’s Creed III Launches on PC

Following the successful launch of Assassin’s Creed III on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 late last month, Ubisoft has today brought the latest edition of the popular franchise to PC. Assassin’s Creed III is a third-person action videogame in which players take on the role of an assassin hunting remnants of the ancient Templar order, hiding in plain site against the backdrop of the American Revolutionary War. Been playing it on a 5770 1GB on maximum settings; no problems for the last 3 hours of constant play.

Really? Have you looked at a Assassin's Creed PC forum recently? It is unplayable on all AMD cards, people with 7970s are getting under 10 FPS. Have you gotten to Boston yet?

Yes, I'm in Boston. My FPS was a smooth 60 until there, now I'm getting roughly 30-40FPS, still fully playable.
