So here we are again. It’s early November, there’s a chill in the air, the holidays are just around the corner… oh and there’s a new Call of Duty out. Of course. This year is Treyarch’s turn to take up the baton from Infinity Ward, but whereas a few years ago that was seen as a disappointing thing, it’s now something that hardcore shooter fans (and I reckon there’s one or two of them out there…) should get rather excited about indeed. You see, in recent times Treyarch has proven itself to be a more than capable developer, over the same period in which Infinity Ward has suffered a rather acrimonious fall from grace. And with with Black Ops II, Treyarch may just have their best game yet. And impressively, you may want to sit down for this, they’ve even done their level best to introduce some new mechanics and innovations into the series. And for the most part, they’re a delightful success.

CoD will always be a beast of a franchise, and how awesome is it that you can just boot it up or pop it into your Xbox and play, MS BC is really a neat feature.
