Check out 40 screenshots of Far Cry 3 for PC (ultra settings).
Looks amazing.Looks like crysis 1.If there is destruction in this, then this will make me so happy : D
gtx 670 i3570 16gb ram Can I max out ? wonder if you'd need a sli for this
GTX 680 8 Gig Ram i7 2600k Those are the "recommended" specs to play the game on highest settings. http://www.shacknews.com/ar...
Dude I'm pretty sure you can max it out. I don't really believe these system requirements anymore.
asus max v extreme , 3 x gtx 580 , i7 2600k, corsair veng 16 gb ram ddr3 1866. i may have to buy gtx 680 VC but id rather to buy gtx 690. im not sure yet because i dont see mass amount of games i want on pc. i cant wait to see next gen system specs or see uncharted 4 or killzone 4.
@ wonder if high performance means Ultra settings. But GTX 670 is basically GTX 680... not too far away, maybe 5 fps less
@ http://www.shacknews.com/ar... Why is i7 as recommended processor, I thought it didn't make any difference in PC gaming compared to i5.
I'm sure you can, with 30 to 40 FPS.
There is minor destruction, like Far Cry 2 (Confirmed, but can't remember where I read it) I hear it is slightly more extensive though... But this is going to be such a BEAST game
finally after 4 years another crysis 1 contender?
Ah yeah! Im going to be ultra-ing the fuck outta these settings!
What are your computer specs?
Intel Core i5 2500k @ 4.5Ghz
2x Radeon HD 6950′s
16GB 1600Mhz Ram
Could I run this game with my current specs?
No you can't run it, you need more HD 6950's and a hexa core i7.
@Muffins1223 It looks EXACTLY like Crysis 1. Isn't that a bit crap that graphics have not improved even slightly in over five years? I think it is.
Does it matter? You know you're just setting a challenge for modders out here, don't you? It's not that graphic haven't improve but it is more like developers are just continuing from where they last left off from Crysis 1.
if i knew even the basics of modding i would say challenge accepted
But would a modded farcry 3 look better than a modded crysis
@papashango Modders. There's almost nothing that they can't do let alone imagine. GTA4 doesn't support modding and yet there are mods for it. Just Cause 2 also doesn't have any mod tools and yet there's another beta for multiplayer mod this weekend for it. Game makers are held back by their publishers'/studios' financial projections. Modders are held back by the lack of proper tools and stigma (now, thanks to DLCs and F2Ps). These two really should get a room and find a middle ground to complement each other's advantages and weaknesses.
The difference being Far Cry 3 runs much better.
It looks good.. but still not really graphically demanding enough for the power-hungry Beast PCs out there, sorry to say. ;) most high-end ones will run the game at like 70-90+fps.
they say that about every game
I don't think you understand what a maxed out game on PC means.
Cannot wait for the 30th. Loved FC2 despite it's flaws and this looks to be atleast 3 times as better :D
Is crossfire supported at release?
Well AMD released a new CAP the other day that supposedly increases Crossfire performance, so I expect so.
Beautiful visuals just like the PS3/360
You can try a little bit harder nexg time when trolling...
a good graphic engine can beat this and at lower resolutions.
