Content-rich and varied in its approach, Ubisoft's FPS does everything to avoid boredom, be it a gentle introduction of stealth-lite elements with enjoyable CQC kills, or the more leisurly discovery of a myriad side quests. Bathed in sunlight and entertained by the big guns, it is great fun to blow up and torch everything in the middle of a superb looking world - albeit monotone in its settings and ennemies.
Yes, multiplayer is particularly lame, but that's not really where the game was expected to perform. Far Cry 3 is not to be missed this holiday season.
