BioShock Ultimate Rapture Edition Revealed By Retailer, Scheduled For November 30th Release

With BioShock Infinite coming out in February 2013, it looks as though 2K Games wants to make sure that as many people as possible play the previous two games before the upcoming sequel. - PSLS (BioShock, BioShock 2, BioShock: Infinite, PS3, Xbox 360)

It would have been really awesome if they included a BioShock Infinite demo.

I'd buy it just for that
Foolsjoker  +   700d ago
I was hoping it would bundle infinite with it, well a voucher at least.

I have both games is any of the dlc worth it? any single player dlc?

and doesn't the ps3 version of Infinite includes bioshock one for free?
TrendyGamers  +   700d ago
If you already have both games, it isn't really worth it.

And yes, Bioshock Infinite will come with a free copy of Bioshock 1.

"Bioshock 1 will come with Bioshock Infinite."

Just some random musing, but I kept reading that as meaning:
Bioshock1 will come with a free copy of Bioshock Inifinite

Ambiguous statements are fun.

About your other question, yes, Minerva's Den still is one of the best DLCs that I have played. It wasn't expensive imho and brought a fresh story that was well written and well done in a typical BioShock way, with twists and a lot of unexpected elements, I'd even say it was better than BS2 in a lot of ways; and good 3-5 hours of gameplay.

Surprised they want us playing Bioshock 2 lol.

I don't think it was a bad game, but it certainly didn't latch on like the original.
TrendyGamers  +   700d ago
That's for sure.

I don't think it was meant to. The beauty of Rapture was introduced in Bioshock, but just expanded on in Bioshock 2. Either way, both are amazing games.

Bioshock 2 is well worth it. It's now as WOW as the 1st, but it is still a brilliant game.

The PS3 version of Infinite will have a copy of Bioshock 1 for free.

This is perfect for me. I still haven't played BioShock 2! I'm definitely getting this.

I'd rather a System Shock HD remake.

See, now my excitement for this release just turn into disappointment thanks to that comment. :(

It sucks to know that they will probably never do that or even make a SS3.

Isn't infinite coming with the first Bioshock for ps3? I recently bought 2s complete edition on the psn store when they had a discount during the summer
XXXL  +   700d ago
I believe the PS3 version does have Bioshock 1 included.
