Far Cry 3 Review | EDGE

Edge: Far Cry 3 is at home in the jungle. Wild, reactive and unpredictable, it’s where the series still feels so distinct from other FPSes. It’s built from many of the usual ingredients, including guns, explosive barrels, and thoughtfully placed cover, as well as few less usual ones – tigers, for a start – but refuses to tell you how to approach things or what to do with them. Visiting Rook Islands is no package holiday, then, but it’s a great place to make your own fun. (Far Cry 3, PC, PS3, Xbox 360) 8/10

So what!?
It's Edge. They've managed to turn a magazine about something as great as gaming into something boring.

And their reviews are often completely ridiculous, raving about the obscure, while nitpicking about good games to pretend they're only worth a 5 or a 6... all for shock-value.

GamesTM is my favourite magazine. Although the recent loss of page-count is a bit disappointing.

EDGE is f****** citicicing, an 8/10 from Edge can be an 10/10 in other magazines.
