Yakuza 5′s Virtua Fighter 2 Mini-Game Supports Online Play

The Yakuza series has Club Sega arcades to hang out in and UFO Catchers to play with. Yakuza 5 ups the ante with an actual arcade port. You can play Virtua Fighter 2 inside Yakuza 5. Famitsu reports the mini-game also has online play. However, if you want to fight online you need to download additional unspecified software from PlayStation Network. (PS3, Yakuza 5)

The main concern is that Sega has been having financial issues.

I really want to hear an announcement for this game coming stateside this game is going to be a bigger magnum opus then Shenmue!

And that's alot for me to say...

Don't think it sells well outside of Japan at all and even if it does get released outside of Japan we won't see it for close to a year outside of its initial release date going on previous titles.

Meaning we may get to see it around next Christmas, if we are lucky and Sega don't go under in that timeframe.

That's extremely cool.

Really looking forward to this. Just another 3 weeks away.
