Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified Review | The Escapist

The Escapist: "There is little in the way of a redeeming quality to Declassified. Short story missions are good for a mobile console, but pointless firing in one direction isn't. A wealth of multiplayer content is great for shooter fans, but not if matches are nearly unplayable." (Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified, PS Vita) 1.5/5

Love how almost none of the reviews mention how this is one of the best(if not the best) FPS on a portable.

Even if it is as you say the best FPS on a mobile platform, doesn't mean by proxy that it should receive a high score. Regardless, 2things are certain:
1. More people will now be put off getting the Vita than will get a Vita because of this game.
2. In 6 months time when the online community all but dries up what reason will anyone have to buy the game.

COD on the Vita had the potential to be a game changer but its yet another opportunity gone begging.

"Best FPS on a portable" really isn't saying much.

Basically if i was somebody looking for Reviews for this game, i would ignore them. The game is great especially the Multiplayer, fair enough the single player content is on the low side but 1.5 out of 5 is very harsh and this goes to other reviewers as well and i dont think they can deny that it is the best COD/FPS on a handheld, they are just bashing it because they want it to be black ops 2. My opinion:
Single Player: 6.5
Multiplayer 8.5
Best Multiplayer on a Handheld by far in my opinion.

To be honest with you, I dont care for CoD at all. I think it is an average FPS. Black ops 1's ending was so "America, fuck yeah" I was cracking up thinking I was watching a trailer for Team America 2. Sadly I was not.

This game really isnt any different, albeit it lacks a real story most people will enjoy the multiplayer, and I enjoyed the missions, and hoard mode. Timed trials were pretty lame, but I dropped my 50 bucks on it just to see if the game deserved all the super poor scores that it had given. It doesn't. It deserves average scores for a average game. It's not a broken or unplayable game which are what the review scores indicate.

I would say it is because gamers play for Fun, and playing games for a job would take all the fun out of our hobby, and turn it in to scrubbing toilets.

They were dumb for investing in tbe game in the first place. It is common knowledge that Nihilistic software are terrible devs so it amazes me that they even bought the game.

I thought the gameplay videos were promising and it looked like they had made a huge improvement from when it was first announced.
The thing that stopped me from getting it was the price.
£45 on the store and £40 in retail.
Umm no thanks.
Then the reviews came in and just added to my doubt.
At least we won't be getting anymore games from Nihilistic.
