IGN-Assassin's Creed III WII U Review

IGN:If there’s one image that encapsulates the Assassin’s Creed series, it’s that of a hooded figure balancing atop some skyscraping parapet, looking down into the city below. It’s a snapshot that shows off a lot of what makes these games special – their incredible attention to detail, breath-taking verticality, fascinating architecture, unique historical settings - but it also represents their limitations. Assassin’s Creed games are easy to admire, but you often feel a bit distanced from them, too, held back from inhabiting these worlds as fully as you’d like to. You’ve always been on the outside looking in.

The story is too old to be commented.

Don't tell me you're saying that because of the score.

I really hope that this doesn't start becoming some sort of trend and people start fully reviewing Wii U titles, instead of slapping the previous reviews from different consoles. I actually want to know what the reviewer feels after COMPLETELY playing that specific version!

Yeah, especially when some WiiU versions have big fps problems...

One thing good about Wii U is the dedicated game communities so now every Wii U gamer can see how all the gamers like the game and take their advice not review sites. ZombiU was rated horrible yet almost everyone on Wiiverse likes ZombiU. Why does everyone like it if it got rated bad? Seems gamers will now be the reviewers for Wii U games thanks to Wiiverse.

Agreed. I don't really trust reviewers, as half of them HAVE TO give good reviews or they lose their job/money/advertising.

A lot of the games I have bought are from word of mouth. Alan Wake, Borderlands, Demon Souls etc. It's good to see that implemented (Wiiverse)

I think this review is copy pasted from the other versions. I think that is pathetic. Can't they review the Wii U version? Maybe it has less bugs etc.

Yea, "Miiverse" has some great potential, it's essentially Facebook for gamers and it's cool because every game/app has its own community and little Mii's surrounding them talking about it. Yesterday I saw a little Mii's drawing of Heisenberg (breaking bad), and Jesse asking him if he wants to cook, and everyone watching Netflix started chatting about the show; another example is how the Wii U takes a picture of where you were last and post it on Miiverse, which is cool when asking a question about a specific area. I like it!
