Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix is wrapping up development. The game is 80-90% complete, according to co-director Tai Yasue.
Now finish it, localize it, and start working on Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD Remix
Even if it's not localized (which I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope it is), I'm going to import this. I'm sure Enix will drag their feet with an English version if they give us one at all. I mean, these are the Final Mix versions of the games, and they sure as hell didn't bother giving us those originally. It's like they're greedy and want the best versions of their games to only stay in Japan... -_-
To be fair, the reason why a Final Mix version even exists is because certain things were available in the NA version but not the original JP version. Things like the Ice Titan fight, the Sephiroth fight, and the secret movie at the end.
So they re-released KH in Japan with these things and a bit extra on top of that. After that, it might not have been worth it financially to re-release the Final Mix version in NA.
So Kingdom Hearts HD remix gets announced at TGS 2012, now almost complete.
Final Fantasy X HD Remix gets announced at TGS 2011, not a single word about it since.
Also considering that at first there were only two people on it for a whole year from the osaka team until just a couple of months ago.
it would be really nice to hear about FFX HD collection... and hopefully this gets localized.
so any word on a localized or am i gonna have to import it
If SE dosent localize this I am convinced they have no idea how to make money.
hopefully we get a psn realease of kingdom hearts 1.5 in north america
This game will most likely get localized. KH sells really well in areas outside of Japan. Plus, has there ever been a game to not get localized in the series in some way? They even gave us Coded even though that wasn't really important. The only games we haven't gotten are the Final Mixes.
