GB:ZombiU is not a repeat of Red Steel. It's a smart, scary, incredibly difficult action game with an unfortunate name, an experience that rewards patience and punishes arrogance.

People only comment on bad reviews by bad sites and when a good site like Giant Bomb makes a review it hardly get seen on this site because its a good site.
I think this review perfectly highlights the inconsistent scores for this title...you either get it, and review it on it's own merits, or you don't and you review it as just another FPS. The Gamespot video review perfectly demonstrates this, in my opinion. The game has it's flaws...graphical issues like clipping into walls and the like, but the designers had a vision for the game and followed it through...true survival horror. The makers of Resident Evil 6 could have learned a few lessons from this philosophy.
This game is far from "true survival horror". Just being hard and having some pop out scares doesn't make a true survival horror game. Try Silent Hill 2 or Amnesia.
This is, simply put, the best Zombi U review I've read, and not because of the score (other sites scored it even higher), but because of the contents of the review itself. Excellently written. I wasn't going to pick this up until after it hit the bargain bin, but now Giantbomb has convinced me. I'll be buying this game in december.
