My Excitement And Fear For Metal Gear Rising

The infamous bait and switch that Hideo Kojima pulled on the entire gaming industry, most commonly known as Metal Gear Solid 2, initially led players to despise Raiden for years on end. Jump forward to Metal Gear Solid 4, and Raiden is now a fan favourite. Goodbye to the whinging pretty boy, and hello to one of the most ruthless and bad-arse ninja cyborgs to ever set foot in a game. (Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, PS3, Xbox 360)

if it's good it good and if it sucks then no worries cause MGS:GZ is the main event

Isn't it called Revengence now?

No fear for this game. Both demo for and DmC is out and we can clearly see which is the action packed hack n slash game. Metal Gear Rising is the fast, smooth chaotic fun game that DmC should but however Ninja Theory can't listen to fan feed back and just refused to make a better game and now we have a slow, clunky, game with nothing that resembles the game that fans grew to love. Platinum Games along with the creative minds of Kojima Productions have made a game that lives up to the fast pace Hack n Slash games we all know like the original Devil May Crys and Bayonetta. It's to late now but maybe for their next game Ninja Theory will not let their ego cloud their vision and make a best selling game for once.

people should wait and see. it looks fun im a huge MGS fan but even i don't care for a change of pace in a spin off as long as it is fun in what its goal is

DMC played much better than this glitchfest. DMC is definitely the better hack & slash in 2013.

You haven't played either one. What the hell are you talking about?

I played the demo that came with the Zone of the Enders Collection. I wasn't very impressed. Sure cutting most objects in whatever way you want was fun, but it just seemed clunky. And the cutscenes seemed lifeless. The combat was also fairly decent, until it got to a boss. Which I have to add, was not very fun.
