Little Inferno | Geekenstein Review

"Little Inferno is quite possibly the worst indie “game” I have ever played. I put “game” in quotes because I’m hesitant to even call it that. I’ve seen free, ad-ridden iOS apps more enjoyable than Little Inferno. It’s not a game at all, it’s a tech demo shamefully marketed as a full-priced indie game." - Dustin Triplett of Geekenstein.com (Little Inferno, PC, Wii U) 0.5/5

I am disappointed in these reviews. I was hoping for more from this games. But now I am glad I didn't purchase anything from the eShop yet. Perhaps I will take that $15 and put it towards Nano Assault Neo instead. Trine 2 is still a purchase for me regardless.

damn smh.. whats going on with this wii u? I seen good scores pop up for 1st party titles only to be nullified on metacritic by others that didnt feel as thrilled.. I hope more support flows in from outside devs.. I hear miiverse is a ghost town for 3rd party games compared to 1st..

That is because most third party games suck. The devolopers didn't put enough effort into them.

Why would people be talking up sub par games?

Not that I see what that has to do with this review. This is an indie game that was released on the PC(primary system) and the Wii U.

.5 seems a little bit harsh. I don't think I've ever seen a .5 score before...

i saw this game on steam, and is barely a experimental game... i have yet to understand the objective behind burning your things...

and i agree that is barely a "game" it's more like that sandbox chemistry programs...

in fact, i think that sandbox chemistry programs are more like games than that...

very disappointed knowing that this is from the same guys that made the awesome world of goo.

The objective of burning things is to burn them. Burn certain things to unlock combos and then you get more coins to burn other things. I wanted to like this game, I really did. But it's not a game, it's an experiment app. The $15 price tag is just embarrassing.
