There's even more classic DOOM stuff here than DOOM 3: BFG Edition (arguably the best part of that particular package).

Crikey, that's like half the price of BFG Edition, I was expecting something like £6-£7 not that!

Thanks for making this "early" adopter feel like his money went to the right place. While I enjoyed Doom 3, I primarily purchased Doom BFG Edition for the classic entries. Sad to say, they just invalidated my purchase. You'd think this would come with some sort of Patch announcement to remedy this issue, but no dice.

Yeah, that must seem like a bit of a kick in the teeth. Hopefully they will give a patch for people like yourself. I don't know why they didn't include all of this in the BFG edition in the first place.

Like I said above. However, I rented BFG Edition and loved the chance to play through the Doom 3 games again. Again, I was thinking of buying BFG Edition just for playing Doom 1 & 2 later.

The very least Id could do is offer the 'missing parts' from BFG as cheaper DLC. Buying Doom 1&2 twice for the same console isn't something I plan to do.

$14.99? Not a terrible price, but considering Doom 3: BFG Edition will be $20 at Gamestop this Black Friday, I see little reason to pick this collection up over that.

It comes with all the expansions and Final Doom levels. BFG only comes with the original two games. Not trying to say the price is right, but if you just want to play the classic games, this collection is much more comprehensive.
