Xbox 720 was needed for Hitman: Absolution, current systems held game back

Developers for some big game releases, like "Halo 4," who have commented on the performances of current consoles have had good things to say about it, but there was one developer who believed their AAA title needed the Xbox 720 and Playstation 4. (Hitman: Absolution, PC, PS3, Tag Invalid, Xbox 360)

In short, IO Interactive realized too late that they messed up certain elements from past games and don't want to accept responsibility, and instead blame it on the current generation consoles for "limiting the game." I call bullsh*t on that one.

So, they made it PC only and made the game they wanted?

Oh, no, still released on PS3 and 360.
That would work actually. But 700k sales won't be enough for the game to profit.

They could have added these features to the PC version so the PC crowd would get a true feel for what they wanted to present. We would then be able to play that version as well to see what we are missing. As it is, this is just talk.

That's a bad excuse I think, I don't see other developers saying this. You make best with what you got. This ain't their first rodeo.

Apparently PC held it back too, because this game doesn't run very well.
