An Uncharted card game might be great

Taking a well established universe such as Uncharted and applying it to a card game has a couple of benefits. So let's look at some facts. Do you think Uncharted: Fight For Fortune might be a sleeper asynchronous hit or will it fall apart like a house of cards?

The story is too old to be commented.

Not when it's talking time and resources away from Bend studios who could've been working on a Syphon Filter by now.

It's very minor, they outsourced a company to make it with supervision from the head of the GA project.

They have other AAA projects in the works.

How about releasing a new Uncharted Vita game in 2014? We don't need 2 in the same year, even if one is just a card game. Kinda tired of yearly releases, I'd prefer variety. So release Bioshock or something next year then come back to Uncharted with some fresh user input and ideas.

I know they're different devs, but my point still makes sense to me at least.

Yes, it "might" be great.

But it probably won't. Mostly because I'm pretty sure there's no such thing as a "great" card game. Or even a "good" card game.

Uno is a great card game with more than 2 people and a good game with 2.

Magic The Gathering, Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh to name a few more.

And those have a huge community around them

Visions of Zosimos looks good too.

I don't see why people are getting a little worked up over this. It's probably just a quickly made card game with Uncharted themes to it, nothing groundbreaking, probably just a cheap downloadable game.

It's $5. It's cheap alright. It's not going to automatically make Uncharted the new milked game like CoD.
